Thank you for taking an interest in your child's Spanish class. The seventh grade Spanish course uses the text "Paso a Paso B", which is the second half of Prentice Hall's Spanish 1 course. Overall, the goal of this course is to continue introducing new vocabulary in a manner consistent with sixth grade Spanish, and to increase students' grammatical proficiency and oral fluency.
Unlike Paso a Paso A, the sixth grade textbook, Paso a Paso B is grammar intensive. A much heavier emphasis is placed on complete sentence structure. As a result, students are often surprised to find that some of their study habits are no longer effective. This page aims to consolidate resources and provide the tools necessary for success in seventh grade Spanish.
