During July 15 to July 18, I learned how to program computers. Specifically, I learned how to make two different kinds of robots respond to my commands.
The first robot we used was called a Finch robot. We (Me and Faith Harris) named it Finchel Turtle Finch the Fourth. We made the second robot. We named this one Angel. Angel is an elephant who's favorite time of the day is food time. She gets so excited when she see's her food and water. She swings her trunk back and forth, and her ears vibrate when she see's them. Not to mention she makes her elephant noise and her bow changes color. She is very friendly and loves people and food. It was so much fun building her, and it didn't take too long. Camp was so fun! Hummingbird kit. First we wired all her wires to the hummingbird first and then started building her body. Her body was made out of a box and her head was made out of styra foam. We then covered it in grey fabric and her ears, trunk, and legs were made of foam. It was so much fun designing her and then watching her come to life. I was so glad that I had the oppertunity to come to camp and creat technology. I would recommend this camp to any girl who wants to try something new. It's a great expierence.
-Here is a picture of Angel are elephant robot. Isn't she pretty? -
